The Magnificent Ambersons (1942)

Despite the unapproved additions that Orson Welles called 'bullshit', and the significant cuts, the film is harrowing and possibly Welles' most profound film.

The Episode Happy Family Planning is a perfect episode about suicide. Anybody who experienced severe depression can relate. Paranoia Agent's is usually not as dark as this episode.
