Movie Diary October 2013

I don't care that it wasn't about a hangover. I don't care that it was third in a trilogy that probably shouldn't have been a trilogy. I don't care that it was similar to the others. I LOVED IT. I'm such a Hangover fangirl. Get over it. I was laughing the entire time.


Phil: Not a dentist, Stu...a doctor!

Alan: My father and I were life partners.

Alan: I saw it in a porno-graphy.

Alan: You don't get it Stu. You. Just. Don't. Get It. I have over 60 apps on that phone. Do you know how much time and manhours it would take to redownload those apps?

Phil: Why are these chickens so angry?!
Chow: All I feed them is cocaine… and chicken.

Alan: I can’t believe my daddy is dead. I can think of so many people I’d rather have died first, like my mother.

Alan: We’ve been on a lot of adventures together. I can’t be your hero anymore. I must resign from The Wolfpack.

Alan: Nothing worse than losing your phone.
Stu: You just saw a man get murdered. Your brother-in-law is kidnapped. You sure there's nothing worse?

I feel like this picture kind of sums up how silly and ridiculous this movie was. Not my cup of tea.

Anyway, some memorable quotes that also sum up the whole movie:

Donna: Oh, my God. Do you dot your "i"'s with little hearts? That's so cute.
Christine: Yeah, well, it's my trademark. That and my hickeys.

Donna: You're breaking up with me, in a birthday card? Why?
Tommy: Because they don't make breaking-up cards?

Brandt: Is that all you've got? A cheap trick and a cheesy one-liner?
Tony Stark: Sweetheart, that could be the name of my autobiography.
[blows up Brandt]

Pepper Potts: I'm taking a shower.
Tony Stark: Okay.
Pepper Potts: And you're gonna join me.
Tony Stark: Better.

The Mandarin: A true story about fortune cookies. They look Chinese. They sound... Chinese. But they're actually an American invention. Which is why they're hollow, full of lies, and leave a bad taste in the mouth.

Gary the Cameraman: Mother I have to call you back something magical is happening! Tony Stark is in my van!

This was incredibly predictable. :/ I had high hopes, but as usual, I was disappointed.

The masks did freak me out, but they have been over done.
The basic concept of having a yearly day of crime was actually a good one, but it was not well executed.

Obviously a re-watch. I love X-Men. Hugh Jackman is to die for.

I like animated films. This was just meh.

Bad Grandpa. Appropriate name for this film, because it was BAD. BADDDDD.
