Movie list created by Stehako Avatar

People who added this item 394 Average listal rating (287 ratings) 7.1 IMDB Rating 7.6
Reasons for Prediction: There is a lot of pre-premiere buzz for this movie. It's a much-needed music-filled movie, something the academy still loves. Eric Roth penned the script and is loved by the academy. Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga are very popular. If it's treated like the three previous iterations it will be loved by the academy.

People who added this item 108 Average listal rating (76 ratings) 6.9 IMDB Rating 7.3
Reasons for Prediction: I can see the academy loving a serious Steve Carell role. Timothy Chalamet is primed for an acting nomination, bringing light to a best picture nom. It's based on two critically successful books, and directed by Felix Van Groeningen, who seems to be in the correct trajectory with a best director and best picture nomination.

Reasons for Prediction: Julia Roberts has had a bit of a critical renaissance and this seems like the movie to get her another nomination and her film one, too. Lucas Hedges has an agent who seems to only show him future award winning movies.

People who added this item 72 Average listal rating (44 ratings) 6.6 IMDB Rating 7.1
Reasons for Prediction: RGB is so hot right now. With such a cast and crew involved, along with the obvious academy-baiting topic, this seems like a sure bet.

Vice (2018)
Reasons for Prediction: Director Adam McKay has such a refreshing take on horribly dull topics that he just may make Dick Cheney interesting, and the academy looks for such things. The cast is insane and all past academy award-winners/nominees.
