Marvel Cinematic Universe Films Ranked

This film is exciting, original, funny, creative, and a feast for the eyes. This is one of most entertaining big budget movies ever, and was definitely a real surprise treat. The only complaint I have about the film, is it's antagonist (this won't be the last time I have that complaint) who lacked depth and was just boring.

Joss Whedon managed to craft a film that is an ensemble superhero film, and not have any of the heroes overshadow each other. Not only that, the film is funny, clever, creative and an intense thrill ride. This was the apex of what the franchise had been building to up to this point, and it definitely did not disappoint.

James Gunn was given the thankless task of having to create a follow-up to his great film, that could live up to the hype, and while he didn't completely succeed, mainly due to a somewhat meandering second act, it's still a great film, with the same likable characters as the first film, clever and funny moments and one of the MCU's best villains.

It's certainly better than the 2003 rendition of the Hulk, but this film, while certainly competent, isn't particularly memorable. And given the fact that they replaced the actor who plays Dr. Banner, and the direction the MCU took, this film really stands out as being the black sheep of the films.

I actually don't remember much about this film. This is definitely one I need to rewatch, but I do remember not being able to follow it very well, and being bored by it, but I definitely need to give this one another go, so consider this spot tentative.
