Legal aged actresses convincingly cast as jailbait

I'm not too familiar with much of her work, but the very young looking and rather beautiful India Eisley seems to have been cast below her real age quite a bit. The first time I saw her on the screen was as the 12 year old daughter of Kate Beckinsale's character in Underworld: Awakening, she was 19 at the time. While I do find her very attractive, I find myself having trouble believing her real age, at 23 its obvious why she continues to get work playing teenage characters. I do however, hope Hollywood allows her to grow up soon, so she can show her talent as an adult and not be stuck in the kiddie pool too long.

The ages of Emma's characters seem to fluctuate nearly as much as her hair color. While portraying a 17 year old high school student who was pretending to be overly promiscuous, in the movie Easy A, Emma was actually 22 and even though she has the look and the acting chops to pull off the younger role, I think they worked so hard at making her look physically younger, I found her less attractive than in any of the other movies she's been in. I'm not saying it was a bad movie, I'm just saying that if you want to make a movie that every guy in school is going to tell an untruth about having sex with a girl, it would have made more sense to show her with her natural good looks, not take them away. This girl can act, and as I said above, she can pull off the teenage characters quite well, but I will also say, I've liked her more when playing parts that are closer to her own age.

The oldest actress on this list, a TRUE Scream Queen, Danielle has been playing characters younger than her actual age since she was 11. Playing a 6 year old in Halloween 4 (and then 7 in Halloween 5 at the age of 12). Danielle returned to the Halloween franchise 19 years later and at the age of 30 she took on the role of a 17 year old high school chearleader. Now, while pushing 40, she may not be able to pull off a role as a teenager, she's still got the looks to be convincing as someone much younger than she is.

Although I don't recall the age of Buffy the Vampire Slayer at the time the show started I do remember her not having a drivers license, as well as attending high school for quite a long time. I do know that either way Buffy was at least 2-3 years younger than Sarah Michelle, who started her role on the show at 19. While it may not be a big difference in age, looking back it was probably an appropriate decision to go with someone over 18, considering the penchant for the title character to dress in such tight and at times skimpy clothing (no I will never forget how she looked in those tight pants, or all the leather she seemed to have painted on at least once each episode.

One of my favorite, young actresses today. While not all of her roles have been under-aged, Britt hasn't played a character equal to her own age since turning 20. She has spent the majority of her career playing characters between 14 and 17. Although she's 26 now, I read an interview where she said she would continue to play younger roles as long as she can continue to pull it off. While it seems as if she has stopped aging, I would really like to see this beautiful and very talented actress take on some more age appropriate roles.

This Australian bombshell was cast in the Brook Shields equivalent role in the (horrible) third installment of the Blue Lagoon. Her character was a 17 year old valedictorian candidate that spent the majority of the movie making eyes pop, with her scantily clad, and very nicely toned body. Being 22 at the time, I'm not ashamed to say I was upset by the lack of her truly following in the footsteps of Brook Shields in the original. Here's hoping she doesn't let her good looks age away before taking on another acting job like this one.

Although everyone of them started out their run on the show as a 15 or 16 year old, every one of them was in their twenties. Although I wouldn't consider myself a fan, I did watch a handful of episodes and with this cast, when I asked the question; "where were girls that looked like this when I was in high school?" the answer was "college". While very campy, and a bit cheesy, the show was widely popular, and a few of the cast members even managed to continue on with a successful career once it was all over.

With the exception of the actress that played a dead girl for the first 5 seasons, all of the actresses who started out the run of the show as 15 year olds, were actually 21 or older not to mention smoking hot. I will admit to being a fan of this show, its kind of hard to deny getting enjoyment out of all those hot twenty somethings being bad, keeping secrets, all the while maintaining the correct appearance to live up to the title of the show. I still regularly wonder if anyone actually looked at these hotties and believed they were really high school aged ?

Michael Bay loves exploiting hot, young women in his movies. This is probably why he chose Nicola for the fourth installment of "how to effectively ruin transformers for an entire generation", because lets face it, she couldn't act her way out of a wet paper bag. To make matters worse, Mr. Bay cast her as the exploitable hottie in that movie and ruined it further by making her character 17 and doing everything he could to draw attention to how hot she was. Being 19 at the time, it wasn't a big leap in age like some of the others on this list but since it fits in the spirit of the list as a legally aged hottie playing a jail bait aged character, I felt justified in adding her here. I also haven't made any lists lately that point out how hot yet untalented this particular actress is and couldn't resist throwing her in here along with a rant about Michael Bay ruining a beloved childhood franchise.
