Greatest Movie Standoffs

With Clarence in the bathroom, the Police break in and begin the standoff with Donowitz' bodyguards, then Coccotti's gangsters break in on the otherside of the room and a full standoff in is effect. One of my favourite scenes from any film.

Joe is pissed as he believes Mr.Orange is a cop, however Mr.White reckons he good and Eddie is obviously going to protect his dad, and so:
The standoff is between, Joe, who is about to shoot Mr.Orange, Mr White, who is aiming at Joe, and Eddie who is aiming for Mr White...

Lets face it, a list of the greatest stand offs wouldn't be complete without a Spaghetti Western.
Its the final showdown between The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Each wants the 200,000, only one can get it....or can they? Blondie, being 'the Good' has another, less selfish, idea.

The standoff between Beatrix the 'Black Mamba' and Ellie the 'California Mountain Snake' in Budds trailer, the standoffs good, fights ends quickly tho ;o

When the Uruk-Hai army of 10,000 arrive at Helms Deep, they don't attack straight away, they stand chanting around the fortress waiting for the Men and elves(and dwarf) defending it to act first. The standoff comes to an end when some old guy lets go of his arrow and takes out an Uruk-Hai.... they aren't too pleased.

Lieutenant Archie Hicox and Hugo Stiglitz meet in the bar with von Hammersmark, who has some information for them.. only an annoying German major Dieter Hellstrom notices they are not true German and an under the table stand off begins with Hellstrom aiming his gun at Hicox' testicles. Hicox, who stays cool the whole time, and Stiglitz both have their guns aimed at Hellstrom's testicles.
All this while Staff Sergeant Wilhelm and his party celebrate on the next table, unaware of the current stand off, however the bartender notices and has his gun ready...

Another appearence for Clint Eastwood, not exactly shocking really! Eastwoods character Will Munny turns up univited to the bar where Little Bill is talking to his men about hunting down Will. Will, surrounded by armed men has one shot left in his gun, after taking out the owner of the bar. Bill announces to his men, "He's got one barrel left. When he fires that, take out your pistols and shoot him down like the mangy scoundrel he is." Will doesn't seem to be bothered by this and then...

So Frank and the mysterious Harmonica man finally take part in the showdown that's been building up in anticipation for the entire film. Harmonica already having been involved in a standoff earlier in the film, against 3 men which he won, and Frank is just 1...

The prison break comes to a slow down as Mickey and Det. Scagnetti stare each other down, both with a gun in hand, but are they both loaded...
