Gene Tierney's Heavenly Curls

I've never been captivated by someone's hair as much as Gene Tierney's. I want to smother my face into those locks and just sleep there until I'm invigorated by her aroma. I love how it starts off straight from the roots but then ends up nicely interwoven with other strands to form a cluster of cute pin curls. On set she appears to be very conscious of its appearance as evidenced by the various scenes in movies in which she had a comb ready at hand to detangle those annoying frayed ends. I can only understand the daily hardship poor girls like her have to go through in order to address these imperfections and that it's become an addiction. So much so, she never allowed studios to go anywhere near it. She had full control of the way it should appear in films of her choice.

It also has a mind of its own as well. When she walks, it doesn't flow like the wind like many others do, the ends bob up and down which indicate girlish ebullience. I can watch her walk all day and never grow tired of it.
