Papo & Yo - PC Games
This is an incredible adventure! What seems like a cute puzzle platformer in the beginning soon turns into something much darker, a child's escape from reality and his way of dealing with his fathers alcoholism. The overall looks of the game are really beautiful. Set in a rural South American village, you get to explore a world that is both authentic and magical in the way that it is presented. Definitely worth a play!

Hitman: Absolution - PC Games
I really had my doubts when I first started playing this game. What I had seen from the trailers did not look like what I was used to from older Hitman games and I was afraid that this was another franchise gone down the drain. While playing it, however, I saw that while there were elements that I really did not enjoy (the whole slow mo shooting and the running from choppers sections), I found the game to be different, but still very enjoyable to play. Even though the mechanics are a little bit silly at times (e.g. guards walk right past you without seeing you), the overall gameplay feels really smooth and gives you a lot of choice in how you tackle the missions. The story might be the weakest part of the game. It is not all that interesting and - at least for me - only served the purpose of tying the missions together, but, since I have never really cared about the story of the Hitman games as I have about the gameplay, that is a flaw that I can look past. Overall, it is lots of fun and gives plenty of replay value!
