I first met JERRY LEWIS at the London Palladium where I took some photos of him at the stage door. I sent him copies of the pictures later and he signed them and returned them to me. Some years later in Las Vegas at the Desert Inn he gave me one of his monogrammed handkerchiefs as a souvenir. I have seen him in Las Vegas many times and also in Reno at Harrahs Casino. In 2006 I went over to Las Vegas where he was hosting his annual telethon. He is still doing his "Jolson medley" which I love. He came over to England a few years back and I took my wife to see him in Brighton. My favourite film is of course "The Nutty Professor" (1963) with Stella Stevens and Kathleen Freeman but I also rate "The Bellboy" (1960) very highly.
