Ten - Pearl Jam
To put it simply this is one of the greatest albums of all-time ... yes I said all-time. You simply cannot find a bad song on this album. This was one of the first albums that really made me appreciate the importance of good music. If there are any poor souls out there that haven't listened to this whole album, do yourself a favor and get it as soon as you can. Even after 20 plus years it still holds up and feels as new and current as the first day it was released.

Sadly for Guns N' Roses they peaked with their first album Appetite for Destruction, they just hit their ceiling with that one. All that being said Use Your Illusion I is still a terrific rock album.

Initially I was going to do a list of my favorite albums from the entire 90s, but that list was just way too long. So I decided to go year by year through the 90s to make it easier to browse.
I grew up in the 90s and was a teenager most of the decade (93-99), so for me the music of the 90s is my favorite from any decade. These songs were the soundtrack of my teen years and helped me through some really tough times.
1991 was a damn good year for music. Two of the best albums of the decade got released in 1991. Nevermind by Nirvana and Ten by Pearl Jam.
If you feel I left out any awesome music let me know or if you think my choices suck post a comment. As you can tell when you look at my list I prefer rock music mostly and there's a few pop songs I like as well.
