Death:After a lengthy knife battle with an unnamed German soldier, the only Jewish soldier in the group slowly (painfully slowly) succumbs to exhaustion and is stabbed to death.
Character:Medic Irwin Wade
Death:Wade is shot in the taking of a radio tower and is blindly attended to by all of the men accompanying him, though he is the only one who knoews what to do. Finally, recognizing his own imminent death, Wade asks for morphine, knowing that there is nothing left that will save his life.

Death: Fearing a tortured death from one of the creatures outside in the mist once the car has gone as far as possible, David Drayton uses the last four bullets in his gun to kill his four passengers, including his very young son. He then exits the car to be killed by one of the beasts. Instead, he is saved by an army caravan rescuing suvivors.

CAUTION!!! THERE MAY BE SPOILERS PAST THIS POINT!!! They may not be the most painful, or the most famous death scenes, but these are the ones that had me hurting. Awesome acting or just plain unexpected, I was most likely bawling at one or more of them...(List in progress)
