I first saw her playing a convincing (and non-sexualized) teenager in the film Winter's Bone. I was surprised when people began commenting on her "voluptuous body" and calling her "womanly." She is very charming, but a bit of an adult child. Give her a few more years...

She is and always was very youthful facially, so the fact that people talk about how slutty she is (and she isn't--there's no proof) and how degrading they are to her sexually has puzzled me.

Very childish face... also worth noting, in almost all studio pics, her face is photoshopped to look older.

Not so much now, but when she first became popular, she became an almost instant sex symbol seemingly BECAUSE of the sexualized nymphet virgin image.

Since she was eleven, people have been saying "OMG!! She looks so old for her age!!!" No.. no, she doesn't. she looks HER age but wearing makeup and heels.
vraifriandise's rating:
Since she IS a child, the amount of grown men on the internet going ON and ON about how wonderful and attractive she is and how they wish they were 14 again when they see her... that's creepy.

For want of a better title.
Women and girls who I'm always a little creeped out to hear men (especially older ones) perving out over/dissecting in sexual talk due to the fact that they look/act/or even ARE extremely altricially youthful. This manifests itself in subtle and not-so-subtle ways.
This is bad not just due to the objectification, but that they aren't even superficially acknowledging beauty, just sexualizing them.
Suggestions welcome!
