The Outsourced team went all out for the Halloween and Diwali episodes. (Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights.) These two episodes are among the best holiday episodes in TV history.
While on the subject of Outsourced, I find it very sad that a brilliant show like Outsourced can only be on for one season, while garbage like the typical "reality" show can thrive. What does that say about the American public? Is a real life Idiocracy style dystopia far away?

There is an excellent Halloween episode in which Monk and his brother Ambrose solve a Halloween mystery involving candy theft.

The Big Bang Theory (2006)
The Big Bang Theory has definitely gone down the toilet in recent seasons. The last great episode that I remember was the Thanksgiving episode, in which they celebrate at the Wolowitz house.

Married with Children (1987)
Christmas was not the only holiday that was featured in a great Married With Children episode. The Thanksgiving episode, in which Al seeks a special sweet potato pie, is another example of Bundy greatness.

This list is of my favorite TV holiday episodes, featuring holidays other than Christmas. You can find my favorite Christmas episodes in my Christmas classics list.
