Chicago P.D. - Season 8

The team responds to the shooting of a 5-year-old girl and they must work the case while facing new obstacles that come from the heightened attention on police reform. Atwater is targeted by a group of officers who want to hurt him for standing against the blue wall. Voight questions whether he's cut out for a new form of policing as he manages oversight from the CPD's deputy superintendent.

8x02 - White Knuckle

After a local and highly respected Alderman's son is suspected of murder, Miller tries to pressure Voight into charging the teen quickly and quietly without it being suspected of racially favouring. Meanwhile, Atwater and Voight continue to have disagreements on how to handle the racial sensitivity within the police department, and the former is antagonized by a racist CPD official for exposing the actions of a late corrupt officer.

8x03 - Tender Age

Ruzek and Burgess discover a child walking alone in the middle of the street and when they take her home, they discover her entire family has been murdered. Upton is approached with a job offer from the FBI.

8x04 - Unforgiven

A cop is murdered and suspicion falls on someone who has been holding a grudge against the officer. Intelligence works hard to solve the case but Dep. Supt. Samantha Miller is hesitant to defend him until she knows the whole story.

8x05 - In Your Care

The team investigates a rash of carjackings and finds that the truth is more complicated than they realize. Burgess makes a discovery about a previous case that will change her life forever.

8x06 - Equal Justice

Halstead and Ruzek try to infiltrate a crime ring and encounter a complicated situation. The team recruits an unlikely ally to help solve a murder.

8x07 - Instinct

After a series of deadly ambushes, the team goes undercover to bring down a dangerous new drug dealer who is determined to push out the competition. Ruzek's informant proves to be a loose cannon, which could upset the whole operation.

8x08 - Protect and Serve

Ruzek and Atwater are tasked with making an arrest after a high-profile shooting. The situation becomes complicated when it's clear someone doesn't want them to make it back to the station.

8x09 - Impossible Dream

8x10 - The Radical Truth

Ruzek's father, Bob goes missing and the team races to find him before it's too late.

8x11 - Signs of Violence

The Intelligence Unit investigates the disappearance and abduction of small family with a history of domestic violence and financial issues and the case stirs up painful childhood memories for Upton, causing her to lock horns with Voight over how to solve it. Meanwhile, Upton and Halstead's relationship reaches an apparent impasse after Upton finds herself unable to respond to Halstead's declaration of love for her.

8x12 - Due Process

The Intelligence unit investigates a serial rapist who has committed a series of murders and leaves little to no evidence. After Deputy Superintendent Miller argues that the CPD should go by the books when it comes to police work, Voight tries to resist his normal tendencies when it comes to his way of investigating. Miller asks Voight to include a suspended Detective, who was leading the original investigation, for help but Voight later has cause to worry that she may get too involved in it.

8x13 - Trouble Dolls

The Intelligence investigates the brutal murder of a young pregnant woman whose baby was taken out of her womb before she was killed and illegally sold in a fake adoption ring, Meanwhile, Burgess contemplates a decision about who should be responsible for raising her newly adopted daughter, Makayla if something happened to her.

8x14 - Safe

As the team investigates a rash of brutal home invasions, Upton immerses herself in the case while simultaneously finding herself wondering if her relationship with Halstead is affecting her police work.

8x15 - The Right Thing

Voight and the team pursue a ruthless crime ring whose business has hit close to home. As they dig deeper, the extent of the danger becomes more apparent. Deputy Superintendent Samantha Miller second-guesses her decisions.

8x16 - Safe

Voight and the team muster all their expertise to bring down a deadly crime ring. Burgess finds herself in a dangerous situation.
