Indiana Jones
The real outdoorsy kind of dad. Can be somewhat distant due to his globe-trotting and capturing of Nazis.
But I give you three words: Hat. Jacket. Whip. Definitely the winner of every "My dad is cooler than your dad" arguments.

Jim's dad
He's nervous and tentative, but always has his heart on the right place. He really makes an effort to be there for his son.
He is also very liberal, e.g. when it comes to his kids watching porn and doing some "tension relief".

He's not much for discipline, but he's really devoted to all of his seven kids and even their friends. And don't let his clumsiness fool you, he's a kick-ass wizard too.

Yes, he was absent in his kids childhood, but when it really matters he'll be there. So when you're getting kidnapped by slave dealers, you know that your old man will come and get you, and he won't let anything stop him.

Homer Simpson
Drunk and irresponsible, but yet so loveable. In a world full of overprotective mothers, Homer see nothing wrong in letting his kids riding shotgun on a motorcycle.
Plus: unfailingly loyal to mom, which is something that should be mentioned.

Bob Parr
The engaging type of dad. With a superhero dad you would think that dad will be gone most days and nights, leaving the family at home, but no, Bob just as well take his whole family with him to "work".
Plus for having matching costumes for the whole family. Although it's not always popular with the kids, it shows great solidarity.
