Fallen - Lauren Kate
I describe Fallen as ADDICTIVE. The kind of book you can stop reading until you reach the last page. It's so amazing and I love the way Lauren describes the characters, the scenario, the details... everything.

Is one of my favorite books and whenever someone asks for a good book to read, the first one that pops in my mind is Fallen. Definitely a must read! Like, GO READ IT RIGHT NOW!

Torment (Fallen, Book 2) - Lauren Kate
There's actually something that I hate about those books of the Fallen series; I always have questions and none of them are answered.

But I guess this is a good thing? I love the mystery because it keeps you hooked up, curious to know the answers, but when you have the answer to ONE of your questions another freaking question appears and you don't know anything anymore. It's frustrating but actually one of the best and coolest things about the Fallen series.

I can't wait to read Passion, I think this one will answer some of the many questions about Luce and Daniel's past. Or at least I hope so.

Pântano de Sangue - Pedro Bandeira
I don't have much to say about this book. It's good, mysterious and full of action. That was basically how I described it to my school essay.

I did like it, but there's nothing special about it. Really.

Yeah, after so many years, I finally read Harry Potter. I thought it was ok. DON'T KILL ME. I love the movies, I love the characters and I love J.K. but that was only the first book and there's still so many things to happen in the next books. I'll read the other ones to get a more concrete opinion.

But for now, you'll have to accept my "it was ok".

Umm, City of Bones is simply AMAZING. Besides the characters that follow the villain Valentine, it's the first time I read a book where I don't hate everyone (even the good characters) and this is so rare.

For obvious reasons, I love Jace and Clary and they are my favorite characters. I don't feel the need to stop my reading just to face palm something they did and this is quite rare too (yes, I actually do it a lot while reading! But I can't help if some characters are just so stupid!)

“Have you fallen in love with the wrong person yet?"
Jace said, "Unfortunately, Lady of the Haven, my one true love remains myself."
..."At least," she said, "you don't have to worry about rejection, Jace Wayland."
"Not necessarily. I turn myself down occasionally, just to keep it interesting.”

Sooooooooooo much better than the movie! There's so many things on the book that don't happen on the movie and THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING!

And also, The Chamber of Secrets is awesome. I'm so sorry if I don't have much to say about it, but I really liked it. J.K. is so good at making us spend hours and hours just reading and biting our nails, LOL.

My favorite, so far.

Not news for anyone that the book is better than the movie.

Sangue Fresco - João Carlos Marinho
I SPENT YEARS LOOKING FOR THIS BOOK! I wanted to re-read so freaking bad and I finally found it! Uh, I'll translate the title as something like Fresh Blood and I know it sounds weird and everything but guys, this book is actually VERY, VERY good! I highly recommend it to everyone who likes books filled with adventure and mystery.

It's such a fun book and you read it in less than 2 or 3 hours because it doesn't even have 200 pages. I really hope this book has an English edition to the non-Portuguese speakers. Such a shame if not.

It took me so long to read this book. I looked to it on my shelf and just thought, "nah, stop looking at me. I won't read you". But when I finally decided it was time to read... WOW. It was like I had submerged into Harry Potter's world nothing could make me leave.

Passion (Fallen, Book 3) - Lauren Kate
THIS REVIEW CONTAIN SPOILERS

No wonder why Fallen is my favorite series.

Those were the only books I read in less than a day because I just got so hooked up to them that nothing could stop my reading.

Not even mentioning that Passion is probably my favorite of the three books already released. There were a few boring parts because most of the book is just Luce going from Announcer to Announcer and Daniel is after her but he's always late. Besides that, the book is FANTASTIC!

BUT I'M REALLY, REALLY, REALLY SAD BECAUSE I'M SO IN LOVE WITH CAMERON AND I THINK HE AND LUCE ARE CUTE TOGETHER (SORRY TO EVERYONE WHO'S ON TEAM DANIEL) AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAD A PAST TOGETHER! HOW COULD YOU DO IT, LAUREN? HOW COULD YOU?

Ok, I need Rapture.

“I'll always choose you." Yes that was the word. "Every single lifetime, I'll choose you. Just as you have always chosen me. Forever.”

The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins
I had never read anything like The Hunger Games.

The book is fascinating and each chapter gets more and more intense.

Now, I'll have to confess something to you guys; I only bought it because I was curious about this book. Like, everyone was talking NON-STOP about it and how awesome it was and I was reading all the reviews and struggling with the desire to read it. But I surrendered, and I'm glad I did.

Because, man, this book definitely deserves all the success. It's amazingly surprising and so different from everything we're use to nowadays.

I think I should warn, even though everyone probably knows everything since you've watched the movies but for those who haven't.

It looks like The Order of the Phoenix became my favorite book of the Harry Potter series and I'd be surprised if this didn't happen, honestly.

As I read, I had to read more and more and more, and it was impossible to stop. J.K. Rowling knows how to make us feel like we're inside the book, feeling what the characters are feeling, dealing with their struggles and problems, living with them every single moment of their lives.

I never would have thought that it would be possible to cry so much while reading a book. I cried and sobbed and I had never cried so much with the death of a character. And guys just by reading his name would make me cry. Seriously, I really loved this book and I'll always love it with all my heart because it's the best book I've ever read.

“Is it true that you shouted at Professor Umbridge?"
"Yes."
"You called her a liar?"
"Yes."
"You told her He Who Must Not Be Named is back?"
"Yes."
"Have a biscuit, Potter.”

Breathe, breathe, breathe and breathe. You know what? FUCK THIS.

I NEED A FREAKING MOMENT TO RECOVER BECAUSE THE WAY THIS BOOK ENDED WAS JUST SO FREAKING AWESOME AND I'M STILL IN SHOCK, LIKE, SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!! I CAN'T EVEN BREATHE.

No, you know what? I don't need a moment nor a second nor a minute nor an hour nor a day nor a few days nor a week nor a few weeks nor a month nor a few months. Man, I DON'T EVEN NEED YEARS. I need a life.

I wasn't expecting this book to go the way it did but man, I liked it. It was unexpected but tremendously interesting and fantastic.

Came pretty closing to being better than the first one.
