Banjo-Tooie - Nintendo 64
It's HUGE and impressive and really well made, it's unfathomable the talent of these developers. They've created a genre, IMO. I don't consider this game to be a platformer, platforming is so unimportant compared to the exploration and problem-solving in this game! I don't know how to categorize or describe. The only thing I can say is it's brilliant.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Nintendo 64
A perfectly realized 3D game, that features so many elements that it's absurdly impressive it doesn't crumble, since this is the beginnings of 3D games we're talking about. It's ambitious, varied and really welldone.

Rayman 2: The Great Escape - Nintendo 64
One of the best 3D platformers of all time, it's on the top along with few others.

Perfect Dark - Nintendo 64
Even I that don't usually like FPSs, came to be interested in this one. Something made me like it.
Conker's Bad Fur Day - Nintendo 64
Although the gameplay is a little too scripted for my tastes, it's still a good platformer.
The best games (of my interest) in Nintendo's 64-bit cartridge-based machine.
