Finian's Rainbow (1968)
Francis Ford Coppola's debut feature features cheesy dialogue, okay songs and an old Fred Astaire.

The Wrecking Crew (1968) (1968)
Director: Phil Karlson
His 45th Movie
My 1st movie watched from the director
I've been wanting to see this since "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" came out and I'm really glad I did. It's not a very good movie, but it is fun and it is a unique piece from Hollywood history, considering the pending demise of Sharon Tate. Tate is incredibly likable and a reminder of a sad loss. However, the "Star" is Dean Martin, and he is terrible in this. Clearly they cast him for the star power and marketing, but I can't help know it would have been a better movie with someone else in the lead.
Overall it is a silly James Bond or Flint movie and just good fun.

Berserk! (1968)
Director: Jim O'Connolly
His 4th Movie
My 1st movie watched from the director
Wanted to see this after watching the show, "Feud", expecting it to be really bad but it was actually a pretty decent B movie. The circus stunts were entertaining, Crawford puts in her famous effort, and the ending reveal was good even if messy.

The Producers (1967)
A great concept with funny results. Some of the characters got annoying after awhile.
Stehako's rating:

One of the greatest duos on screen playing iconic comedic characters
Stehako's rating:

Planet of the Apes (1968)
One of my favorite twists at the end, otherwise still a decent sci-fi movie that spawned several mediocre sequels

Stehako's rating:

Hour of the Wolf (1968)
A dark, moody Bergman film with beautiful lighting. Each scene is met with an interesting composition
Stehako's rating:

The Young Girls of Rochefort (1967)
A marvelous French musical about Geminis, dancing, singing, and a few motorcycles and horses.
Stehako's rating:

One of the best years I can recall - it includes one of the greatest sci-fi films (Space Odyssey) and westerns (Once Upon a Time...) and has possibly my favorite Cassavettes film (Faces)
