DOOM II: Hell on Earth - PC Games
I spent so much time beating this game and then when I discovered the modding community... I spent years playing it and I still do to this day.
YaBoyJack's rating:
GoldenEye 007 - Nintendo 64
I remember having what seemed like hundreds of sleepovers in my childhood where all we did was play Goldeneye... and i'm still not tired of it.
YaBoyJack's rating:
Grand Theft Auto IV - Xbox 360
I first tried to play through the story... then I discovered the cheat for all weapons with ammo and I never played the campaign again.
YaBoyJack's rating:
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - PlayStation 2
I... I can't describe how much I love this game it's the best GTA game and I've spent hours playing it.
YaBoyJack's rating:
Mario Party 2 - Nintendo 64
This is the best Mario Party game, the new ones are getting ridiculous but this one... this one had it down. Me and my friends have spent hours arguing about "Well that last game was bullshit!" and "I was just about to get that star!" and let's not forget when your friend steals a star from you: "You!... You!" *Throws friend out window*
YaBoyJack's rating:
Minecraft - PC Games
Yep, it happens all the time, start playing at 3, build a house, and all of a sudden its 6. This game is time consuming but is incredibly fun, there are no goals so you pretty much set your own, and setting them high can make sessions last for hours.
YaBoyJack's rating:
Pac-Man - Arcade
"I'll just play one game.." 2 hours later "Where the hell did all of my quarters go?" happened to me a once as a kid, good memories.
YaBoyJack's rating:
Pokemon: Blue Version - Game Boy
The best Pokemon game by far. All you'd do is name your character, choose your pokemon, explore a little bit and all of a sudden an hour's passed by.
YaBoyJack's rating:
Primal Rage - PlayStation
I played this game religiously once I bought it, I played it with my friends, family, and neighborhood kids I barely knew, Good times, Good times.
YaBoyJack's rating:
Ratchet & Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal - PlayStation 2
I remember getting far, and all far meant was a couple planets in 2 hours. It's not incredibly time consuming, but I've spent some time playing this game.
YaBoyJack's rating:
RollerCoaster Tycoon - PC Games
Man this is one of those games where a "quick game" suddenly turns into 6 hours of intense campaign playing and all 6 hours gets you is about 3 missions at the most. Very time consuming but very fun.
YaBoyJack's rating:
RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 - PC Games
This one is a little bit different from the original RTC where instead of playing the story mode all I did was go into sandbox mode, make giant roller coasters and ride them. The added function of being able to ride your creations made completing one mission take 2-4 hours for me because I spent so much time riding my own rides as opposed to managing my own park.
YaBoyJack's rating:
SimCity - Super famicom and SNES
I've only played this game at my friend's house and I've been to his house on several occasions where all we did was play this game for 4 straight hours before I left.
YaBoyJack's rating:
SimCity 4 - PC Games
building a city and maintaining it takes hours... just for you to end up destroying it with a tornado or meteor strike.
YaBoyJack's rating:
Super Smash Bros. - Nintendo 64
1 match with a friend quickly turns into 20, great game, solid concept, I could play it any day of the week.
YaBoyJack's rating:
Tempest - Arcade
You have to play it to understand it, I really can't explain it, but I've drained all of my quarters on this game several times, and it was money well spent.
YaBoyJack's rating:
Tetris - Game Boy
This game needs no explanation, everybody knows it, and lots of people have wasted time playing it, including me.
YaBoyJack's rating:
The Sims 2 - PC Games
You can waste a lot of time building up your sim's life, house, and money, but I spent most of my time finding creative ways to kill them.
YaBoyJack's rating:
Theme Hospital - PC Games
I love this game, building your hospital, getting its ratings up, and finding all of the wacky cures for diseases like 3rd degree sideburns and bloaty head. I've lost my copy so I haven't gotten to play it in a while but I hope I can find my copy one day so I can play it once again. This game is a lot like Roller Coaster Tycoon where one mission takes quite a while, but is really worth it at the end.
YaBoyJack's rating:
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater - PlayStation
I spend all of my time playing this game on the first level, it's so much fun, I could play it forever, plus this game has my favorite sound track ever so just listening to this game is incredibly fun.
YaBoyJack's rating:
Time flies when you're having fun... This list is no particular order (Actually it's in alphabetical order, but I mean it's in no order of preference), it's just 20 games I've spent a lot of time playing.
