Description: M M 0 0 Spyro is a cute purple dragon in a bit of a pickle. Each of Spyro's dragon friends has fallen victim to the nefarious Gnasty Gnorc, who has turned them into crystals. Accompanied by Sparx the dragonfly, Spyro sets out to free his buddies, while collecting gems and dragon eggs. Sparx also serves as Spyro's health-o-meter, glowing gold when Spyro is healthy and turning dusky green as he tires. To boost his energy, Spryo can blast docile creatures with fire, turning them into butterflies, which Sparx transforms into much-needed fuel. "The original spyro is a masterpiece from Insomniac! Insomniac is one of the best game companies in the world IMO and did a fantastic job with this first spyro game! Who knew only two ways to kill things could be so much fun! Flame big guys and charge little ones and any thing made out of metal as well. It never felt like a chore to collect gems and treasure and just to run and charge around in every level whether it be lava,grassy pastures,or towers. This game had such an amazing reward "
