Lords of Thunder is a side-scrolling shooter that has you take on the role of a legendary warrior, blasting enemies to heavy-metal tunes. Your enemies are plotting to revive Zaggart, "The Dark One," who was sealed beneath the six continents of Mistral. It's up to Landis, descendant of the heroic Dyu, to stop them.

All-Time Favorite Shoot'em up Games (100 games items)"Lords of Thunder, known as Winds of Thunder (ใฆใฃใณใบ ใชใ ใตใณใใผ) in Japan, is a shoot 'em up by Hudson Soft and Red Company for the Turbo CD which was released in 1993. It was ported to the Sega CD in 1995. It is the unofficial follow-up to Gate of Thunder. The game is notable for its heavy metal soundtrack."
