The fried calamari , sometimes also called calamari or squid rings in Cantabria , is a dish prepared from squid fried breaded in flour that can be found in many bars and restaurants of the countries that enjoy Mediterranean cuisine .
In Spain are usually served as a lid ( snack ) in many bars . Like some other dishes seafood are usually served cold and fried the day before, along with a slice of lemon to squeeze over the ration if the consumer so desires.
