this is often called the korean bladerunner and the connection is fairly blatant. cyborgs with lifespans trying to circumvent their inevitable death. as well, a cop who falls in love with one. yet short of some nice future asain city backdrops these are about all it has in common with bladerunner. it doesn't live up to its potential although its not entirely bad either.
