Classic comedy from 1950 starring Spencer Tracy (Northwest Passage; Bad Day at Black Rock; Guess Who's Coming to Dinner) as the alternately proud and frantic father of soon-to-be bride (Elizabeth Taylor - Giant; Cleopatra; Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf).
As head of the household he has to deal with the emotional pain of her getting married whilst coping with the financial and organizational pain of arranging her wedding!.
Co-starring Joan Bennett (Little Women; Man Hunt; Suspiria) and actor-turned director Don Taylor.
