Diana was born in New York City, but grew up in a suburb in Dallas, Her parents immigrated to the United States from Eastern Europe. Most of Diana's extended family still lives in the newly independent country of Kosova.
You may remember Kosova (or Kosovo) made headlines in the late 90's during a bitter war, The Conflict touched Diana's family, Who was feared dead for a short time, Diana became active in a movement to call attention to civilian suffering, often reaching out to the media to cover the story.
At the time, She was desperate for information and really appreciated journalists who traveled into the war zone to uncover the truth, She really believe their work saved lives, The Experience made her want to become a journalist.
Diana speaks Albanian and some french, Recently Diana went to become an anchor this year of Awake with News 4 on Sundays at 6 to 8 am, and 10:30 am which is now News 4 This Morning, She works with Meteorologist Kristen Cornett on Sundays also and plus the latest non stop coverage. When she isn't spending time with her family, Diana enjoys relaxing with a good book and traveling new places.
Diana lives in St. Louis.
