Danny the Street
Danny the Street is a fictional character in the DC Universe; a living, sentient street who can magically and seamlessly place themself in any landscape at will without any disruption to the surrounding environment and freely interact with any other sapient being through various forms of visual printing they can generate at will in their proximity.
They were created by Grant Morrison and Richard Case and first appeared in Doom Patrol #35 (August 1990). Their name is a pun on female impersonator Danny La Rue, as "La Rue" is French for "The Street".
Danny the Street can teleport and incorporate more and more space as they gain more residents. They can create any conceivable thing, living or inanimate, as long as they have enough strength. Danny's most important power, though, is to always be a friend to those who need it most and let everyone feel comfortable being themselves.
