Heart-Shaped Box Reviews

This novel is well written, and reading it actually reminded me of reading Stephen King's earlier work. No big surprise there, though, as the author, Joe Hill, is one of Stephen King's sons! And I am not saying that Joe Hill is a Stephen King copycat, just that his writing reminds me of his father's early work!

Hopefully Joe Hill keeps writing quality novels like this one. The lead character in this story buys a ghost on the Internet, and once it arrives, all hell breaks loose.

I loved this book, found it hard to put down...and only wanted more of Joe Hill's work to read after I was done. Having none, I turned to Stephen King's "Skeleton Crew".
