Anastasia Phillips was born September 8 in Toronto, Canada. She is the daughter of Mark, a psychiatrist and Janina, a fertility care specialist. She is of Venetian and Polish ancestry.
Phillips is the middle of three girls, plays violin, and exhibited an interest in acting from a very early age. She spent the large part of her time in high school in school productions, memorably starring as Cyrano DeBergerac, with prosthetic nose and all.
