At age 15, Ana Brenda moved to Mexico City to participate in the reality show Pop Stars, where she was a finalist and member of the band, t'detila. They recorded an album with the same name. In 2003, she joined the Center for Arts Education Televisa to study acting. In 2005 she appeared as Juanita in the telenovela Barrera de amor, produced by Ernesto Alonso.
In 2006, Ana Brenda participated in a production of Grease. That same year, she had a role in the novela Duelo de Pasiones as Claudia, which was produced by Juan Osorio.
