At the start of this movie i was thinking "this is going to be a long and boring movie that will seem to go on forever". But i think as soon as Clark Kent was thinking back to his childhood, flying and jumping as superman does, i started to like it.

this is bad

I've seen my share of bad movies - haven't we all? But this was pure disappointment. Due to everything, really... First, the script (how corny and stupid can the dialogues get!?!), the editing (remember the opening scene!), and then, the acting - sorry, Routh does not have Reeves' charm, no one ever will of course, he just doesn't have what it takes to be a 'great' actor. This was a REALLY good movie. I went to sleep while wacthing it at the end. So I didn't see parts of it. Hey it was 1:00am in the morning! I know...teens tend to stay up late...lol!! But i rate this movie 10/10!!

Truly a Superman movie

There was a lot of room for them to mess this movie up. Thankfully, they didn't do so. The actor who plays Superman/Clark Kent is an excellent fit for the role. He keeps the quality that Christopher Reeve brought to the character but makes it his own. Also, Kevin Spacey did an excellent job with Lex Luthor and Parker Posey knocks the bimbo girlfriend role out of the park.
