The greatest film of all time! The attention to detail, writing, wit, and heart are all brilliantly displayed in this film that contains the perfect mixture of drama, comedy, action, romance, and adventure. It captures the United States' finer moments and embarrassing moments and includes figures that made social and polical impact from the 50s to the 80s. This film needs to be seen a minimum of ten times before you die. "Lt. Dan said I didn't have to worry about money no more, and I thought 'Good... one less thing!'" (one of hundreds of fantastic lines from the film. I could go on and on about this film, but brevity takes importance in these lists.

The second greatest film of all time! Yes, my two favorite films have come out of the same year. This is without a doubt the funniest movie ever made. Besides maybe four lines from side characters, every single line in this film is funny. Through the years some of the jokes have grown tired, but only because people use them so much in every day life. This film will never grow old and will most likely be Jim Carrey's funniest film he ever does.

Ace Ventura: Pet Detective

This was my favorite comedy of all time, until Dumb and Dumber came out a few months later. I was amazed at how funny this guy was, being that it was the first film I had seen him in. He is one of my favorite characters of all time.

The best non-war action film ever made... damn 1994 was a good year. Both Arnolds are at their best, and I know most will disagree; but I think this is better than nearly all the James Bond films.

Natural Born Killers

Once again, most will disagree; but I think this is Stone's best film he has created. It's got an amazing cast and insane imagery that begs for repeat viewing. I loved it and I'm not a violent person in the least.

Four Weddings and a Funeral

Still one of the best romantic comedies, a lot of films have to give credit to this one. Hugh Grant is brilliant and Andie McDowell is always a treasure.

The Mask

The third film with Jim Carrey, it's easily his best year and I think only Ben Stiller in 2004 (Meet the Fockers, Starsky & Hutch, Along Came Polly, Dodgeball, Envy, & a cameo in Anchorman) has come close to matching such an amazing year in comedy. This film could have easily been horrible without Jim Carrey

Everyone frickin' loves this film. I enjoyed the hell out of it; but I think most will be disappointed with the #9 spot.

If this movie came out this year I wouldn't consider ever watching it, now that I've seen way too many horrible Nick Cage movies; but this is back in his prime and is a good-hearted film that is very watchable a second or third time.

The best sports documentary ever ('Murderball' came close), following two inner-city Chicago high school basketball students for several years, it wows the viewer with such ease and natural grit. You know it's long (over three hours in the directors' cut) but you don't mind at all.
