Main Attack: Can slap enemies and hit them with his tail

Recovery: He can shoot plasma breath and fly back on stage

Godzilla Raids Again (Gigantis the Fire Monster)

Anguirus

Godzilla's first enemy and later one of his most frequent allies. When he debuted back in 1955, it was to universal shock due to his being based on the scandalous Ankylosaurus.

Main Attack: Headbutts the enemy
Special Attack: Curls up into a ball and rolls spiky back-first through enemies
Recovery: Somersaults back to the platform

Rodan

Rodan

Another early enemy of Godzilla's who ended up being a loyal ally. When Godzilla needed transportation, he found he could count on Rodan lifting him up and flying him around, while previously his main option was sitting on Anguirus's back, which proved uncomfortable.

Main Attack: Pecks at the enemy
Special Attack: Flaps his wings to create sonic booms
Recovery: The dude can fly

Mothra

Mothra

Mothra, representing goodness, has been either an able ally or formidable foe to the much less consistent Godzilla. Comic book superheroes have nothing on her when it comes to publicity deaths which are followed by prompt resurrection.

Main Attack: Stabs enemies with her stinger
Special Attack: Flaps her wings to release poison spores and can spray silk over enemies to inhibit their mobility
Recovery: She can also fly

Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster

King Ghidorah
The Three-Headed Astro-Monster

Godzilla's first arch-nemesis. Having lain waste to whole planets before arriving on earth, this guy's just evil. The gold standard was phased out after the Sixties largely because King Ghidorah had been taking advantage of the system by auctioning off his scales one after another.

Main Attack: Bites at the enemy with his three mouths
Special Attack: Zaps the enemy with his Triple Gravity Beam
Recovery: Another one who can fly

Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla

Mechagodzilla

Mechagodzilla is the Big G's other arch-nemesis. He's not evil or anything - he just feels nothing. So don't pitch a fit when he doesn't say "I love you" back, lady kaiju.

Main Attack: Uses his regular mechanical combat abilities
Special Attack: Launches missiles out of the rocket launchers on his shoulders
Recovery: Blasts back to solid ground with his flight pack

Gigan

Another evil alien from outer space like King Ghidorah, and the hydra monster's ally in most of his appearances. This guy's pretty much a torture device, unless you're asking the Bush administration on the matter.

Main Attack: Slashes with his scythe-hands
Special Attack: Gives the enemy the laser eye and can grapple his scythe-hands around an enemy, pulling his adversary closer to his drill stomach
Recovery: Shoots his wire-attached scythes diagonally upward, catches the stage, and pulls himself back up

Godzilla vs. Hedorah (aka Godzilla vs. the Smog Monster)

Hedorah
The Smog Monster

Hedorah, born of pollution, embodies it and man's folly in its creation just like Godzilla does with the bomb. When Godzilla tried to stop his rampage, Hedorah slimed Gozilla. When the critics bashed his movie, Hedorah slimed the critics. When Nickelodeon rejected his proposal to host his own game show involving him sliming things, he slimed Nickelodeon Studios, burning away the likes of iCarly, Drake and Josh, and Zoey 101 with his corrosive acid.

Main Attack: Swipes the enemy with his slimy hands
Special Attack: Fires a laser ray from its big eye
Recovery: Transforms into its flying saucer form and flies back to the arena

Baragon

Baragon is a minor enemy in the Godzilla world, but he's determined and can put up a good fight even against the stronger monsters. He also has a sizable following in Japan. Then again, Japan's an eccentric market and Mothra has her own cult, so I guess that's not saying much.

Main Attack: Hits enemies nasal horn-first
Special Attack: Fires a head beam out of his mouth
Recovery: Does one of his trademark high jumps

The Mysterians

Moguera

A robot created by aliens to overcome humanity's defenses. When The Mysterians first came out, the critcs were all like "Where have I heard -this- before?", until they remembered the plot from the solicits to the movie months prior.

Main Attack: Attacks enemies with its drill-hands
Special Attack: Fires Plasma Laser Cannons out of its eyes
Recovery: Flies duly

Gorosaurus

Gorosaurus is a great big kangaroo-kicking dinosaur. But with humans and giant monsters, it's generally about watching the feet anyway.

Main Attack: Bites the enemy with his enormous mouth and whacks him, her, or it with his tail
Special Attack: Kangaroo Kick
Recovery: Kangaroo Kicks the air an launches himself back on the battlefield

SpaceGodzilla

Born of Godzilla DNA which entered space and was then distorted through a black hole and brought back through a white hole, SpaceGodzilla's origin is a little convoluted. But one thing's for sure: this dude is awesome. Almost as much as Star Godzilla.

Main Attack: Swipes at enemies with his hands and tail
Special Attack: Fires his Corona Beam from his mouth and can levitate enemies
Recovery: Produces a crystal cocoon allowing him to fly

Godzilla vs. Destoroyah (Destroyah)

Destoroyah

Few Godzilla series creatures have as much of a deep connection to the main monster as Destoroyah. SpaceGodzilla may have his DNA, but Destoroyah is the product of the Oxygen Destroyer that ended Big G's predecessor's reign of terror. I guess red was the "It" color in 1995.

Main Attack: Punches and whips its tail at the enemy
Special Attack: Fires his Oxygen Destroyer beam
Recovery: Flight with his massive wings

Rebirth of Mothra

Mothra Leo

A male version of Mothra who has all sorts of abilities his mother lacks and has beaten way stronger enemies. Of course, Toho leaves out that the female Mothra is biologically more practical, compassionate, and nurturing.

Special Attack: Fires laser beams at the enemy
Recovery: Flies back to solid ground

Godzilla 2000

Orga

Though his origin is shrouded in mystery, the theory is that Orga was sent by an alien race to overcome humankind for Earth's resources. I mean, naturally.

Main Attack: Punches the enemy with its enormous hands
Special Attack: Swallows an enemy and steals its attributes, returning its adversary's blows with even more fury
Recovery: Telepathically summons his shell and rides it back to the platform
