Schindler's List: Saul Bass Movie Poster Design

Moviegoods has obtained some very rare copies of the Saul Bass designed movie poster for the film “Schindler’s List”. These have come from the private collection of movie poster designer, Tom Martin. It was Tom Martin’s final design that was ultimately chosen for the final movie poster. Saul Bass was infamous for his career work on film titles, trailers and movie poster design.

We have been told that Steven Spielberg asked Saul Bass (who was 73 years-old at the time) to submit a design for the movie poster. Approximately 200 movie posters were produced at the time and only given to studio insiders. We believe that this was the last movie poster that Saul Bass ever designed.
