Event though I didn't expect it, I watched both parts of 'Red Cliff' during the same day which should prove how much I enjoyed the whole thing. Honestly, I don't know if I could choose between Part I and Part II which one was the best. Eventually, I actually consider the whole thing as one big movie. Anyway, as it was expected with John Woo, the action scenes were really well done but, fortunately, not too much over the top. And, as usual, it was a real pleasure to see Tony Leung who remains my favorite Asian actor. The story, even though it is nothing really great, remained entertaining enough. To conclude, I really enjoyed those movies and it was nice to see something good coming from Mr Woo after all those average and disappointing Hollywood productions so it is definitely worth a look, especially if you like the genre.
