Simply mediocre

If you are a compulsive watcher of thrillers, go ahead. Otherwise, don't even bother.
First of all, I still don't get what is it that everybody seems to see in Al Pacino. Why in the world do they consider him a good actor? I haven't seen him change his face, voice, body language -or anything really- ever.
The main character is poorly composed, both in acting and in writing. It's not a believable character at all.
The others are ok, although you can tell there's a really lame acting direction -and- screenplay.
The directing itself is mediocre, obvious and cheap. The dialogs are a very unsuccessful attempt of being clever, which leave the actors -that are trying to sustain the character- looking very stupid.
Overall, yet another mediocre attempt of a thriller that in my opinion was a complete waste of time.

Hmmm... Have you seen: "Dog Day Afternoon" "Scarface"?

While I agree this film wasn't great at all, I still think he is a fine actor...at least in his earlier films.

I think he did a great job in "The Godfather" I and II (I wouldn't recommend III to anyone, lol).

And then, of course, there's his classic lines at the end of "And Justice For All"...

:)
