Review

It is difficult to review this film, because I'm not quite sure what makes it so special. It's probably the cast. The storyline just seems like one long surrealist hippy dream, but the characters are so brilliantly brought to life by the cast that they leave life-long lasting impressions on you! John Goodman, for me, steals the show with his portrayal of an unhinged Vietnam veteran who is constantly reeling out lines of pure comedy gold.

After the first viewing I gave this 8/10, but it definitely improved when I watched it again. It's a hilarious and different film accompanied by a great soundtrack. Required viewing!
