Review of Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi

Review

Contrary to the other 6 billion people on Earth, this film is probably my favourite of the original Star Wars trilogy. I guess I'm just a sucker for a happy ending, but I watched this masterpiece on repeat as a child, thanks to the memorable scenes at Jabba's palace, through the Ewok-infested moon of Endor and on to the final battle between rebel and Imperial forces.

It's just the film where it all comes together, Luke is a badass and he confronts his father like he knows he has to do. Their lightsabre fight (though acrobatically eclipsed by anything in the modern Star Wars films) still got my adrenaline flowing back in the day, It's partly the reason I like this movie so much. Luke Skywalker is a competent Jedi, instead of a snivelling worm pilot!

That's my favourite too! The movie caught my attention until the end - I couldn't close my eyes even for a few seconds. Besides that, it was quite funny. The best one!
