Undoubtedly the worst portrayal of Batman on the big screen. I had always assumed that Joel Schumacher was a competent director, capable of decent film-making. This proved that he is prone to making howlers though. I can't believe George Clooney agreed to this film, he's even a shockingly bad Bruce Wayne. They try to fit in far too many characters into this, the most embarassing of which is the emergence of Batgirl, played by the untenable Alicia Silverstone. Uma Thurman comes a close second in the failure stakes with an abysmal portrayal of Poison Ivy (One of my favourite characters from the franchise!). Don't even watch it for a joke, the only reason it gets a 2/10 is because I'm an Arnie fan! 2/10 Comments

You must have a soft spot, cuz Arnie was the worst of the worst. I remembering thinking there was too much going on in the movie...like "pick a plot" and stick with it. But even that probably couldn't have saved it.
