Review of X-Men

Review

To tell the truth I actually read some of the X-men comics. And to tell the whole honest truth they kinda sucked. Some more than others. Hell superhero comics in general suck but that's just my opinion that's slightly justified seeing as I have actually read a significant portion of them.

But I gotta say. I like the movies. No prior knowledge of X-Men is necessary and while it might have enhanced your viewing experience in my opinion you'd be probably just pissed that not everything was like your precious comic book.

Wolverine has always been one of my favourites and his back story was actually one of those that interested me so naturally the focus on him is rather nice. Plus I never really liked seeing Jean and Cyclops guy together.

The only true sadness I have is that they aren't wearing the costumed tights they are known for. While I admit that would have been really cheesy and lame, it would have been for teh lulz.

It's just a fun action movie with a very open-ended plot perfect for numerous sequels. And fans of the original comics might enjoy seeing their childhood heroes on the bigscreen.
