The first book in the Harry Potter series - Harry is just a normal boy (albeit one who has to live under the stairs) until his eleventh birthday when a letter arrives by owl messenger and Harry learns he is a wizard and embarks on a journey that is his destiny.

The first book contains just enough to keep the interest for the next and already hooks you into the Harry Potter world.
