First of all, the title Love Happens seems inappropriate. There’s little romance in the movie that it could dispense with the love angle entirely because the story really revolves around Eckhart’s character. That said, Aniston was but mere window display. Meg Ryan could walk over and change the whole story! Still, and I unabashedly admit, there are moments that may make you want to reach for a handkerchief. Well, yes, I kinda, well, got a little sniffing going on back there, especially during that moment with Martin Sheen. But then, there are also moments that make you want to go out for popcorn and not really do it hurriedly.

on it..what i got is a dramatic romance, and really dramatic storyline all over the movie...the man being brokenhearted from wife died many years ago, become a writer and motivator to help those who has through the same thing as he did. Meet the girl at one of his seminar, afraid of fall in love again and then fell in love. This can be a cute movie but the players seem not acting quite naturally and a bit forcing at some scenes. The storyline is easily to be read so would not raise your curiosity. After awhile around the middle I gave up, and look for another movie.
