This kind of book remember's me how sometimes you need just to lay down. Come down. I thought it was pretty poetic. And sweet. Shall I say dat it's really amusing 'cus they'd never forget Cecília, and she is the first one to slip out. Right in the beginning.
What makes all of this even most intreresting, is the fact that we don't get to know what it's rly going on inside of Lisborn's (since the history is narrared by their stalkers's neighbors). And I kept wondering myself all the dialogues and plans of them. The little details and meaningfulness.
It would be rubbish not to meantion the film. It was one of the most equally adaptation book-screenplay I ever noticed. And all that color of the sunset. Just a few changes, it couldn't ruined it. But there are highlight parts that shoul've been in the film. Like that old lady that lives in the basement and the fact that Mary survives when she and her three other sisters commited suicide inside their house. And then she kills herself in a lovely way, just like her sisters did. And all the little information about the Lisbon's girls. It's fascinanting and kind.
I can't explain, it's a beautiful book. Eatable.
It felt just like home.
