Worst In The Series

and it doesn't feel that SHE wrote that book, nor the next ones. I've stopped reading that series, as the style is not what it used to be.
It certainly is not great writing, but it was enjoyable until Predator.
If you think Predator is the worst, wait until you read the next 2 - if you intend to. I don't recommend it, as they really are worse.

Oh no! I thought Book of the Dead was the next Scarpetta one? I guess I'll just stick to From Potter's Field and Cause of Death. I was starting to get lost when Blowfly came out but I decided to give the other books a chance but now I'm not so sure.

You're right. It doesn't feel like a Cornwell book. Predator is a boring hack job.
