I love the actors in this film, and I feel overall it was a really nicely put together film - but all of the parts about the realm of the in-between seemed really imagery-central and didn't really seem like the girl's character was doing very much that was very meaningful or influential there... I don't think the bond she had with the living world was strongly enough established - itsort of seemed like she was just watching the movie like the rest of us, but from her little imaginarium. I'm not quite sure how to constructively criticize the in-between element other than to say it left me feeling unsatisfied.
I REALLY loved Stanley Tucci who played the bad guy - this role was a lot different than anything I've seen him play before and I didn't recognize him at all. I thought he did terrifically! Other actors were all good as well but Tucci really stood out for me.
