Review of A Spell for Chameleon (Xanth, Book 1)

This is the book that started it all for me, this series that is: Xanth.

Long story short: Bink is getting kicked out of Xanth for not being able to show his magic talent to the Storm King, meets some characters along the way through his magical home and goes to Mundania (the no magic land). But, through odd circumstances, he gets back in, and uh oh...

A Spell is interesting, because if you continue on in the series, things get more complicated and this book was simpler and more primitive times. Sometimes that makes the earlier books more enjoyable. Many, many, many puns in here.

Good luck figuring out what Bink's talent is, until the end of course...

Good review!
Though I figured out Bink's talent fairly early on. It wasn't that hard... :)

Sigh, I was sort of young when I read it.

That, or I'm really slow picking those things up.
