Review of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines

This is without doubt the best game I have ever played, and most likely the best I will ever play. It has everything: action, rpg, puzzles, blood & gore, intrigue, and even a bit of romance.

Sure it's without question the most bugged game ever developed, but the brilliance of the storyline, the believability of the concept, and the skill of (most) the voice actors more than make up for it.

Also, its one of the few games with unique dialogue based on your gender; you can play this game over and over.

A shame that while the game gets top ratings, the marketing of it sucked big time; had the company spent a few more months perfecting the game, and then made sure that people actually knew it existed, they could've made a fortune...

It´s a good game, no doubt about it, but say "most likely the best I will ever play" is overrated.

The unique dialogue based on your gender is interesting, but all jokes that NPCs made are not that funny, the options of dialog for the Malkavian blonde at the first city was VERY disappoint, kind of talking with a child.

Of course the horror, vampiric society theme was very well developt. There are also stealth elements. But, it´s far from being soo great as Planescape Torment or Baldur´s Gate.
