Review of Left 4 Dead

"Blow some heads... or eat them!"

Do you enjoy shoot games? With a lot of gore, creepy stuff, unique characters and... zombies? Well, then search no longer, you just found your brand new favorite game!
The story is quite simple: you and another three sidekickers are the last people standing on a post-infection world. Keep yourself alive and be rescued... but do not fool yourself: the task is not that easy.

This review should not be too long. Left 4 Dead is, by far, my favorite "shoot-first-ask-later" kind of game. Unfortunely, it has no more than 4 missions, each one splited in 5 steps, with increasing difficulties. Despite the fact that the zombies and the effects are never in the same place twice, it can be rather repetitive if you do not have an internet connection for your XBOX. But if you do: go ahead an play live... but not before practice a little bit, believe me. Senior players can be rather intollerant with n00bies. Besides, the online mode allows you to play not only as one of the survivors, but also as one of the special zombies, in a truly fun VERSUS mode. Blow some heads... or eat them! (Gee, I feel so free!)

Also, Left 4 Dead won the GAME OF THE YEAR prize.

Got curious? I swear it is a lot more fun than another Counter Strike game.
