This game is complete awesomeness. From the game's gameplay to the characters development, everything is nearly perfect(if not already). The story in this game is one of the deepest I've ever played in a RPG. You know when the story is great is when it makes you think about the plot. The plot was so well developed that it didn't leave any unanswered questions at the ending.
The music is this game very upbeat and emotional, which fit perfectly when a certain event in the game comes. You almost hear the same music theme when you're exploring school but it never gets old, which is why you never get bored from its tune. But what's truly amazing about the music is that it draws you in whenever event occurs in the story. It's almost as if you're lost in thought and only snap out of it when the music ends. You actually have to hear while playing the game to truly grasp its sensational impact.
For a PS2 RPG game, the graphic is remarkable. It gives you the impression of an Anime style graphic while keeping the core of a game's graphic. The backgrounds, mosters, characters, and objects designs are very detailed. Not much else to say about the graphic since it's already great in its own way.
Probably the best aspect of this game is the characters design, not only the plot's characters but those you can establish social links with as well. What truly interesting about these characters is their personalities. Each has different personality and how he or she approaches life, and how he or she views the society as a whole as well. Establishing links with them is not only intriguing but also very beneficial as far as combat goes. Each plot's character has his and her own way of manner to pointing the gun to head and fire it. This intensity never gets bored even if you've already seen a hundred times.
I rarely do reviews for games and it's certainly rare for me to give a game a 10/10 rating, but with this game I just felt like I have to do it. I needed to give feedback to this really wonderful game.
There's more to this game than meets the eye so I recommend you to grab and try it for yourself. If you have enough patient to climb Tartarus, a dark tower which is crucial to the gameplay, then it's undoubtedly that you will find Persona 3 very promising and will treasure it as one of you most favorite RPGs ever. With Persona 3(FES) Atlus has proved to us that Square-Enix isn't the only company that makes good RPGs,and it's definitely shown through this game that Atlus surpassed many Square-enix's RPGs. This game wasn't awarded Best 2007 RPG for nothing. There are many aspects to this game that make it stand out to the already crowded RPGs for PS2.
