Yuck, the fact that I ever gave this a perfect score remains one of the greatest bloyches on my life as a Listal user. The humor, if you can even call it that, is to basically shoehorn in as much crass nonsense as would be comedy writer Seth McFarlane possibly can in the 30 minute timespan. The awful cutaway scenes, the inept sign gags directly lifted from "The Simpsons" (which is actually funny), and the characters, my god are they awful. Peter is basically a cheap Homer (yes, I know it's cliche to say, but this show really is a dumbed down version of "The Simpson" where all legitamite wit and satire have been sucked dry), Brian is a vehicle McFarlane to express his shitty politics (which he does a hilariously bad job at (only time "hilarious" and "Family Guy" will be used in the same sentence by someone with an IQ over 70)), Stewie is perhaps the most annoyingof the bunch, and none of the other's serve a purpose. "Family Guy" begs you to laugh. I do the same. If I put my equally unfunny and unoriginal brand of humor (which is probably still more intelligent than this tripe), would I garner a cult ollowing of 13 year olds?
