I think this is one of the few romantic comedies that guys admit to liking. Every guy I know who watched it had a mysterious case of "allergies" at the end. That's a slam dunk right there ladies:)

it was an alright romcom, nothing bad, but nothing 'slam dunk' about it either, especially from guy's point of view. In fact, other than the ending, it doesnt have any memorable scenes, none that I can remember anyways.
For more guy-approved romcom, I recommend 'Eternal Sunshine', 'Heaven', 'Serendipity', or 'Wicker Park'. And out of those, I think only 'Eternal Sunshine' gave me allergies.
Then again, as a guy, I'll admit that a drama tends to make me more teary than a sappy love movie. 'Forrest Gump' hit me twice, when he asks if his son is normal, and also when he says 'I miss you Jenny'. 'I Am Sam' was quite tough to watch with dry eyes as well, as well as 'Sweet Hereafter'. And 'Crash' had that scene when the Iranian shot the Mexcian guy's daughter accidentally.
Oh, and 21 Grams. That was another powerful emotional roller coaster.
